The blockbuster hit "Magadheera 'has created history in the new Tollywood and he also set a new championship hero Ram Charan and director SS Rajamouli. As expected, the film rights have been taken and a remake is planned for a good time. However, it is understood that this project received a jolt of all kinds.
Apparently, the trio of Vikramaditya Motwani, Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Behl came together to form a company called Phantom and have bought the remake rights of 'Magadheera'. However, it is understood that when they approached the director Abhinay Deo to head the project, it has declined.
Sources say Abhinay feels he is not ready to take on this huge project. On the other hand, the buzz that Ranbir Kapoor was roped to resume the role of Charan received a change.
